Cyber Monday Spending Hits $1.25 Billion, Marking Heaviest Online Spending Day to Date
Holiday spending on Cyber Monday reached a record-breaking $1.25 billion, surpassing previous spending records since the inception of the retail holiday in 2005 and representing the heaviest online spending day in history. This year also marks the second year that Cyber Monday spending has broken the billion-dollar threshold.
Previously, Cyber Monday ranked as the heaviest online spending day for 2010, climbing steadily in rank over previous years.
