From 2008-2010, Comscore ARS conducted a series of studies tracing how the economic challenges of the past two years impacted consumer brand loyalty. During this 45 minute webinar, Gian reviews the evolution of shoppers’ behaviors and their willingness to “buy down” or switch brands in a recession. There were many brands that lost market share but also some big winners. He highlights observed product category differences, identifes some winning brands and discusses how the most recent recession – just as the major ones of the past – will likely usher in a new age of marketing.
