In Spain, Nearly 22.6 Million Visited a Microsoft Site

In April 2011 nearly 23.6 million people used the internet in Spain, which reflects a 4.6 percent increase since a year ago. Microsoft Sites, including sites such as Windows Live Hotmail and MSN, ranked as the top web property with nearly 22.6 million unique visitors, while Google followed closely behind with 22.3 million visitors.

International sites continued their reign, as Facebook ranked as the third most popular site in Spain with 15.6 million visitors during the month. The top local site, and fourth overall, is Terra – Telefonica with 13.5 million visitors. The majority of the top 10 list, 70 percent to be precise, was accounted for by international sites during the month of April 2011.
