Viewers in Mexico Watched 5 Hours of Video on YouTube in September

Online video is playing an increasingly important role in the web experience of users in Mexico. Since the beginning of 2011, the online video audience has grown 17% to reach 20.5 million viewers, representing 85% of the total online population. In September, Google Sites ranked as the top video property in Mexico reaching 19.7 million viewers largely driven by YouTube.com which accounted for 67.3% of all online videos viewed with viewers watching an average of 5 hours of video on the site during the month. VEVO followed as the second largest video property with 12.4 million viewers, followed by Viacom Digital with 6.3 million viewers.
