Research Veteran Jonathan Jephcott Joins Comscore as Consultant for the IAB Australia Digital Audience Tender

Internationally Recognized Expert in Audience Measurement to Help Lead Comscore Bid as Preferred Audience Measurement Provider in Australia

Sydney, Australia, October 21, 2010 – Comscore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, today announced that audience research veteran Jonathan Jephcott has joined Comscore as a consultant for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Australia Digital Audience Tender. Mr. Jephcott, an internationally recognized authority in audience research, will be helping lead Comscore’s bid to become the IAB Australia’s sole and exclusive preferred supplier for the planning, buying and reporting of online audience measurement.

Most recently Mr. Jephcott served in several positions at Synovate, including executive vice president for ViewsNet, Synovate's online business, and as well as head of media research and regional director for operations in the Asia Pacific region.

From 2000-2002, Mr. Jephcott served as vice president and international research director for MMX, Inc. MMX, Inc. was acquired by Comscore Inc. in June 2002. Prior to MMX, he was managing director of Jupiter MMXI. Mr. Jephcott also held positions at Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) TV Research in Australia, serving as joint managing director and technical director. Prior to TNS, he served in several positions with AC Nielsen including technical director for the Pacific region, Asia Pacific core service leader for media, regional media director and media business development director.

Mr. Jephcott is a chartered statistician and a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society. He also holds numerous industry designations including fellow of the Market Research Society of Australia, founding member of the ARF Online Research Council, chairman of the ARF Online Quality Metrics committee and member of the ESOMAR Advisory Council on Online Standards. Mr. Jephcott is the author of numerous industry papers and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Mr. Jephcott graduated from Sheffield University where he earned an honors degree in Economics, Math and Statistics, and was the recipient of the Knoop prize in economics.
