Overview:

Charlotte, NC residents couldn’t get enough NFL and college football this week. Across both broadcast and cable, both top 5 series rankings were comprised completely of football coverage.

NBC Sunday Night Football on WCNC (NBC) earned the number one position in our broadcast series ranking, earning a live household rating of 20.5. In this weeks broadcast network ranking though, it was WSOC (ABC) that earned the top position thanks to an average live household rating of 3.7. WBTV (CBS) earned a close second position in the network ranking with the network earning an average live household rating of 3.6.

On cable, Monday Night Football on ESPN earned the top spot in the cable series ranking thanks to a live household rating of 4.2. However, when it came to this week’s top cable networks, it was FOX News Channel that took the number one position, earning an average live household rating of 1.4 throughout the week.
