Malaysian Digital Association (MDA) affirms Comscore’s value as a trusted, holistic online audience measurement provider
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, November 21, 2019 – Comscore, a trusted partner for planning, transacting and evaluating media across platforms, today announced that it has been reappointed once again as the preferred vendor for digital audience currency in Malaysia. The two-year agreement reflects Comscore’s continuing commitment to providing the Malaysian market with a trusted measurement currency across platforms.
The reappointment was made by the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), who represents online publishers, advertising agencies and digital service providers in Malaysia. This is the fourth term Comscore is working with MDA.
“As the digital advertising industry continues to grow in Malaysia, it is critically important that the market has reliable third-party measurement that enables both buyers and sellers to transact with confidence,” said Serm Teck Choon, President of MDA. “We believe Comscore remains the right choice to help spur continued development of the market.”
The reappointment follows Comscore’s launch earlier this summer of Video Metrix® Multi-Platform in Malaysia. This launch will provide a single, unduplicated measure of digital video consumption across smartphone, tablet and desktop devices to give clients a deeper understanding of how, when and where video content is consumed.
“We’re thrilled to be reappointed as the digital audience currency for the Malaysian market,” said Kedar Gavane, senior vice president, Asia Pacific at Comscore. “This is a critical market for Comscore, and we look forward to continuing to help companies improve their return on investment and make future decisions with confidence.”
Present in 70 countries, Comscore is the appointed online measurement standard in several markets across the globe, including Malaysia, Indonesia, the UK, Spain, Finland and Norway.
