Comscore Releases Top Japanese Web Rankings for September
Yahoo! Remains Leading Internet Property in Japan
Grand Prix Sparks Growth to Automotive Sites
Tokyo, Japan, October 25, 2007 – Comscore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, today released its September rankings of the ten largest and fastest growing Internet properties in Japan based on data from the Comscore World Metrix service. The month saw Yahoo! Sites continue to lead the top 10, with Wikipedia Sites jumping one spot to capture the number eight position.
Top 10 Properties for September
Yahoo! Sites remained the top-ranked property in Japan with 40.7 million visitors, while Google Sites experienced a 4-percent gain from August to September and ranked second with more than 32 million visitors. Microsoft followed in third with 30 million visitors (up 1 percent).
“After experiencing a slight decline last month, Google regained its upward trend,” said Maru Sato, Managing Director of Comscore Japan. “Meanwhile, Wikipedia continued to gain traction in the Japanese market, as it posted the largest increase within the top 10 for the second consecutive month.”

Top-Gaining Properties for September
Following its recent site redesign and aggressive sponsored link campaign, comparison shopping site Become.co.jp experienced a 72-percent jump to 2.2 million visitors, making it the top-gaining property for the month.
With social networking continuing its rise as a global phenomenon, Fox Interactive Media, which includes MySpace.com, gained 14 percent, reaching 2.5 million visitors for the month.
The Honda and Toyota properties both saw gains with the Formula 1™ Fuji Television Japanese Grand Prix at the end of September. Honda experienced a 41-percent increase to more than 2.1 million visitors, and Toyota saw a 29-percent gain to 2.5 million visitors for the month.
