Italian Online Gaming Sites Are Popular Amongst Households with Children

In Italy, nearly 9.5 million internet users spent an average of 55.3 minutes (per visitor) on online gaming sites in October 2012, an increase of 8 percent over the past year.

An extended demographic analysis of the online gaming category in Italy showed that households with children were 27 percent more likely (index of 127) to visit these sites compared to the average internet user. Larger households, with 5 or more people, were also 12 percent more likely to visit online gaming sites than the average internet user.
