UK YouTube Viewers are Avid Music Fans

In the UK, over 34 million viewers watched an average of 228 videos per viewer during February 2012. YouTube.com accounted for 87.9 percent (29.9 million) of the online video audience, making Google Sites the top online video property.

The top partner channels on YouTube were VEVO (11.7 million) and Warner Music (6.7 million), showing the UK viewers' penchant for online music videos. Gaming channel Machimina ranked as the third most popular YouTube partner channel, attracting 5.2 million unique viewers. Fremantlebgt, the YouTube channel for Britain’s Got Talent, got 4.5 million unique viewers which made it the fourth most popular partner channel. Base79’s channels rounded up the top 5 with 3.3 million unique viewers in the UK during February 2012.
