MDA and Comscore Release Rankings of Top Web Entities in Malaysia for March 2015

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, June 1, 2015 – The Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), the apex representative body for online publishers, advertising agencies and digital service providers in Malaysia, and Comscore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a global leader in digital media analytics, today released their monthly rankings of web activity for the top online entities in Malaysia for March 2015 based on data from the Comscore MMX™ and Comscore Mobile Metrix® services.

Top 30 Local Web Entities Visited from Desktop Computers in Malaysia
MAYBANK2U.COM.MY and MUDAH.MY held their respective top 2 positions in the top 30 local web entities ranking in March 2015, compared to February 2015. PAULTAN.ORG was the biggest mover, climbing 9 spots to #18 with 627,000 unique visitors. SAYS.COM, VIRALCHAM.COM, UKM.MY and TONTON.COM.MY were new entrants to the top 30 ranking compared to February 2015.

Top 30 Web Properties Visited from Desktop Computers in Malaysia
Google Sites, Facebook, Yahoo Sites, Microsoft Sites, Wikimedia Foundation Sites, Maybank Group, Priceline.com Incorporated and Lazada Sites held their respective top 8 spots in the top 30 web properties ranking in March 2015, compared to February 2015. Linkedin was the biggest mover, climbing 9 spots to #15 with 1,750,000 unique visitors.

Top 20 Web Properties Visited from Mobile Devices in Malaysia
Astro Group ranked as the #1 web property in March 2015 with 2,423,000 unique visitors, followed by Media Prima Group with 2,241,000 and Yahoo Sites with 1,712,000. New to the chart compared to February 2015 was TANTANNEWS.COM at #16 with 984,000 unique visitors. Astro Group ranked #1 position in terms of tablet audience with 358,000 unique visitors, followed by Yahoo Sites with 305,000. In terms of engagement, MUDAH.MY held their top position on smartphones with 194,643,000 pages viewed, followed by Media Prima Group with 37,566,000 and Malaysiakini Sites with 26,885,000.
